Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) announced plans to hire 500 employees in 2026, including 220 Emiratis in Abu Dhabi, to increase its total Emirati workforce to 600. The bank also shared its talent acquisition achievements for 2025.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has announced its intention to hire 500 employees, including 220 Emiratis in Abu Dhabi, throughout 2026, to increase the total number of Emirati employees in the bank to 600 by the end of the year. In a statement, the bank highlighted its key achievements in talent acquisition during 2025, which included hiring 238 new Emirati nationals, bringing the total to 2,054, and setting a new benchmark in the financial sector after achieving and maintaining a 100% Emiratization rate in Abu Dhabi, where the number of Emirati employees reached 390 by the end of 2025. The bank confirmed that the percentage of Emirati leaders in its executive management has reached 40%, and it has enhanced the role of Emirati nationals, who now constitute 41% of the total workforce in the bank, with 698 employees promoted, equivalent to 34% of the total Emirati employees. The bank also stated that, in line with its strategic objective to increase Emiratization, Emirati talent actively contributes to all bank-related trust operations. Furthermore, it has become a mandatory requirement to have at least one Emirati employee involved in all stages of processing and approving trust transactions, in accordance with operational frameworks. Ala'a Al-Kirbi, the Group Chief Executive Officer of ADCB, said: "Talent acquisition is one of the fundamental pillars of our long-term strategy, where we are shaping a sustainable financial model powered by Emirati talent." He added: "Despite the achievements we are proud of, we are not complacent and are committed to accelerating our progress, as we plan to hire 500 employees in 2026, including 220 Emiratis in Abu Dhabi, to increase the total number of Emirati employees to 600 by the end of the year."
